Finally, someone else on a budget. I hope you stick to the budget plan and keep it moving forward. If possible, I suggest making only one major mod at a time--get it working correctly, then move on to the next one. All the while, you are watching the "For Sale" stuff and getting the best possible deal you can on the stuff that you want. At least this way you don't suffer the "Down Car" syndrome for years and years. I don't know anyone who loves that except for a few people we both know and whom shall remain nameless.

Well first let me say WOW what a crazy few weeks I've had :hairpullout:

Been away almost every week for the last few weeks for work! Then I get to stay in town this past week and it was 12 hr days for the first 4 days this week!! Had to work from home today to catchup on expense reports and other paper work and now I'm beat. I should be done traveling for a while now so I should get back on the car this week.:superhack:

But now I start my new role at my kids school as the assistant athletic director (4 year deal 2 as assistant and 2 as the AD) so we'll see what I can get done at night and on the weekends :headspin:

Hi Rick,
I haven't been on Lateral-g for a while,& when I start taking a look I see the Camaro I sold Mark on here. I'll be watching to see what you do with it.

Randy not going to crazy really, it's a nice car but as with these old cars it had its fair share of WOW what were they thinking when they did that:lostmarbles:

Chicken wire in the rear window channel :bur2: two inches yes "two inches" of filler in the left fender at the front  !! Oh and radiator support is crushed and junk by the left crushed fender!!! It's all fixed now (pictures soon:_paranoid )

On a side note in no way am I trying to say Randy or Mark new any of the issues I've found once I got into the car! I new the fender had issues and Mark told me about it before I bought the car! Just wounder what some people think when they start putting a gallon of filler on the front half of a fender???

Yeah Doug I'm trying to stay on budget as much as I can! I've taken advantage of the for sale section already on a few things, Ricks stanless tank new in the box at half price, and a couple of other smaller items. The car won't be down for long. Getting some of the major stuff out of the way first.

Ok so it's been awhile since my last update  nothing major to report other then I have wheels and tires now :thankyou: Marty!!

They body is all stripped down to metal and no real issues with the out side other then a few small pin holes around the rear wheel openings. Oh and i thought who ever fitted the front fender used a lot of filler :disgusted: well his brother was using another gallon and half on the rear body panel :badidea: it was over two inches thick!!

I think I have my color nailed down and how I will do the stripe and trim on the car

I ended up getting rid of the chrome trim around the side windows, part of the Type LT package just didn't fit the whole theme I'm going for.
So here's a few pictures of where it's at now.

Before that what do you guys think about the side markers?? Keep'em or lose them?? Just can't decide.

Here's the fender when I started to strip it of its gal of filler!!
