It was not that bad, all things considered. Only real PITA was the evap system for the fuel tank. I ended up fabricating an adapter to put the OEM Camaro fuel bucket into the RX7 tank. It may take you a few trips to the BAR Referee to get every little detail ironed out; however, I'd not hesitate to give it a go seeing how well everything fits in the truck. One wildcard - check to see if the donor is of the same category/class as the truck in the eyes of CARB. IIRC, you can't put a medium duty motor in a passenger vehicle and vice versa. |
