We hve a gas tank....Thanks Rick's.......
|
I'm glad you're bringing her on Power Tour this year, Charlie. Me and a few other board members will be in Kalamazoo in June. When I saw it at W2W a few years ago, I thought I'd never get a chance to see it in person again. I think a lot of us (especially the '67 and '68 owners) have a soft spot for that car, and always will. I'm glad it has an owner that knows that a great thoroughbred would rather stretch her legs than sit in the stall and be pampered.
See ya on the 3rd. |
I sooooo Cant wait to see this thing in june! looking good.

Yeah rub in the fact that I'll be sitting here in Oregon while once again you all have fun!! ;) Damn I love that car!!

that hood brings back memory's, i used to make hoods for the guy that ran in the scca in a miget except we used to put kevlar in the center because he liked the yellow and it kept it intackt when it flew off the car

Car looks good
But I can't believe Rick's would send out an un finished tank. They should have atleast taken some scotchbrite to it... |

Those grind marks are all over their tanks, to grind down weld marks. I am not bashing the other company at all, I've used several of their tanks in the past. But I feel Ricks is far superior in the looks department, so was a bit confused by the earlier post. Jody |
