Update..Well Rodger's right I've been breaking the car down to get it back on the rotisserie to finish weld and then send the tub to get powder coated. I do have a few picks of some things I finished up.

Here's a shot of the wheels, HRE 893R's. Rodger and I had to throw it in there real quick to see how it looked. This was one of the smoothest transactions I've had on the car. Rodger got the wheels, tires, mounted, and delivered. And it only cost me several thousand dollars and dinner, thanks buddy:thumbsup:

This car is insane.

1 Question - is your whole life this perfect. I am betting there isn't a thing out of place at your house.

ironworks 07-27-2011 09:17 AM

I must say Jason, You make guys like me who is trying to make a living at this stuff, we have to make sure we are on our game. You have done an amazing job on this car. Granted it's not like you have much else to do since you got you pink slip from the mall. But I would also like to point out these pic with the HRE wheels might be the biggest overall shot you have ever posted of this car.

JUST SAYIN

pacificustoms 07-27-2011 12:42 PM

Charger port looks great (along with everything else as well)! I'm honored that I provided one little influence on the build.

camcojb 07-27-2011 12:52 PM

Jason, you now have to make your own engine mounts after doing those frame pads; they make the mounts look real cheap................ :unibrow:

HWY Nova 07-27-2011 02:02 PM

Jason,

Sorry to hear that you lost your job at the mall.

Rough times....... but your car project looks great. I say you slap the rear housing in, bolt the new shows to the car, and give us full car photo (don't forget the fenders and hood though)!

Just when you think everything that can be done to a first Gen, You step it up another notch, as the others have said, you have an unbelievable talent.
If your not making serious money for such a talent, you are wasted and really need to get out there and do it.

1 Answer- Yes I have issue's (so says the wife).
2 Answer- Perfect...No, Haven't you heard? Apparently I have lost my job.
3 Answer- No, I have socks on the floor, empty beer cans and potato chip bags in the sofa cushions and my schedule of the View mixed in with my uncashed welfare checks.

But Thanks

Enough fun, but I would like to say I am proud of everyone's refrain from using one or two word complimentary cliches on the site lately. Seem's some were offended by that and will have none of that.

LowchevyII 07-27-2011 11:34 PM

Jason, I just want to tell you how incredible the car is. The craftsmanship and your fab skills are god like. I can't believe the detail on every aspect. I think this is the one car i'm most excited about seeing finished since Billy Utley's nova is done. I also think i speak for the rest of the community when i say POST MORE PICS! :D

That would shave a year off the build time. And no washing or waxing, just oil it down...Hmmm. Thanks Steve.
