Beautiful!!!!! This car turned out great!!!
Somewhat off topic but, how do you like your infinity electrical system. Was it easy to use and would you recommend it to others? I looked at it and was nervous about the setup/software side of it being not so user friendly? |

I was where you are. It sounds intimidating but far easier than it sounds. Brilliant execution. Check the blog and how to videos as they cover just about anything you will encounter. Jay was awesome in his support. For me we did have some one off situations but literally had 6 folks from the builder to supporting vendors on conference calls to figure it out. Some of my favorite memories of the build listening to the wealth of knowledge on those calls. |

Lawd Jesus!! I don't what you're talking about, but that red is popping to me. It's perfect!! I'm sure those pics don't the car any justice, but appropriate lighting will only make it that much more better. Wheels turned out great. :king: |
Excellent x 100!!

Yep, it's amazing! Fantastic work. Everyone involved should be really proud.

A friend of mine who lives in OK and went to the car show sent me pics of your car not knowing we're forum buds and that I follow your build here on Lat-g. He just knows I'm building a Camaro and sent me pics of your bad a$$ Camaro as motivation. I can post them here in your thread if you'd like. Or pm me and I can email them to you and you can post them. Just let me know. Considering how close he could get to the car, not the best pics, but still some nice shots of your awesome build.

Going to be a busy summer....Planning for Goodguy's in Columbus and will be in the Builder's Showcase at the NSRA Nat's at Louisville.
Brackets are temporary. Still figuring out the exhaust exit trim piece. https://i.postimg.cc/7LFjnDp4/IMG-7800.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/N09WXLCb/IMG-7801.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/wvDZWZpm/IMG-7804.jpg |
Dude, really!! Why you gotta make my junk look even junkier!!!
  |
Sealed, now primed. We designed the attachment points off existing bolts, etc with threaded stanchions for adjustability but also so it is completely removable with no trace. Trim rings for the exhaust yet to figure out.

Diffuser is done. Michigan Machine Worx is making the exhaust trim piece. We came up with a reverse NACA duct design that will be billet and powdercoated. The 3D print is a prototype to confirm fitment.

It's all in the details. I like it...
|
Beautifully done man!!! Top level stuff!!
|
Few will notice these but they turned out amazing and are functional. Thanks to Michigan Machine Worx! Will be powder coated black. And a schedule change we are going to Des Moines Goodguy's instead of Columbus.

Looks great Chad!!!

Saw this in Des Moines this weekend. It was too hot to really study it at length, but the level of this build is amazing (and I realized that word is wayyy overused). Stunning is an understatement. I'm not much of a red car guy, but this shade flat works, and the accents are perfect... not too much, not too little. I don't think I have ever seen better fit & finish. And that motor?... it's presence is undeniable.
Well deserved top 10 pick. Not really sure why it wasn't chosen for "of the year" finalist. I'm thinking Columbus may change that. Good luck next week Chad! |
