Amatures, it's not like you have to go to the dark room to develop a pic anymore. :bang: :bang: :bang:

Well, that was supposed to be a video. Not opening up a You Tube one yet, i can barely post a pic #computersareforshopping |
Mike --- Here's why I rarely visit Lat g anymore --- because I hate wasting my time. And I've "over" having to load pics on somebody else's site just so I can load pictures here. Thus -- I just don't bother.
If and when I want to load a picture here ---- I first drag the photo to my desktop -- then I open it and "resize it" since it won't post in it's normally saved size -- I select the "1920 X 1080" in the drop down menu labeled "custom" -- Then I need to SAVE the resized photo -- then once I have gone thru all that BS -- I then use the "paper clip" icon on the thread post I'm working on -- and I use that popup window to find the resized photo I saved to the desktop -- I select the photo - choose "upload" - once it's uploaded -- I then (in that same window) drag the "address" that has now appeared (in blue) to the post..... and the picture then appears. All of the above BS is why you won't see me posting pics of anything I'm building here anymore. Way too much of a waste of my time just to share with my friends. |
yes, it was a pain in the butt. But, i learned something and i'm somewhat of a computer rookie.
Other things to do instead of "mastering the computer" Also, met some good people thru the forums (excluding you and charlie :) )....so i've got that going for me lol Off to go mountain biking... |

What I do is right click the image I want to share in smugmug and left click open in new tab. Once pic is open in new tab I just copy the url and paste it with [img] tags here.
Goes quick once you get used to it, no resizing necessary. Car looks great!!! Now, go drive it somewhere!! Greg, will you be at GGs in Dallas? If so, I'll see ya there. |

You should come down to Austin (Andice, TX) for our stop at CHRA - where we all get to see the '40 Ford P/U (amongst all the other cool cars and stuff). They should have some spray outs for me to approve. |
I'm driving down Wednesday the 27th, will get to hotel close to track late in evening. All day Thursday the 28th I'm in Sutton's workshop then have Thursday evening and all day Friday to fart around before heading home Sat morning.

Actually Mike aka 'Big Dawg' Glassman, other than running it thru the IOS image enhancer, and loading it on to the FREE www.postimg.org, which is free, (which must have resized it)....for FREE. :P |

the primer/paint around the glass is a 3M product and the rubber weather strip is a generic Steele Rubber one and i flipped it upside down for that look. |
A few cosemetic upgrades. Wheels, engine detail (while i was in a splint recovering from a broken knee, can only sit for so long right?) and my rear seat delete becoming a "luggage" shelf with a couple of compartments.
