If you really see what the issues were - my main reason for being so po'd is that they were such niggly wiggly little amateur hour mistakes and f ups.... NOTHING that wasn't easily fixed with common sense (like the brake lights that were intermittent). One by one I just went through and touched her up. Now all is good. The intake manifold install done by the fine craftsman at S.A.R. was hilarious... I think I could do better work when we did that, at 16 years old, out in the backyard with zero tools, and zero skills. |

This is a sweet build but something about those front tires just look a lil wide man a narrow tire would look killer on this thing great build though congrats.

Narrower tires would look nice, but take away from his driver goal. A couple or few of this year's SROY field has the little (M-T, I think) Pro Street style front runners, and looked really cool with them, but I did wonder about driving with them on the street. My little Saturn daily driver has narrow, low rolling resistance (LRR) tires to boost its MPG numbers, and they aren't too confidence inspiring. I plan to sacrifice 1-2mpg (guessing) for some wider tires and more stability/handling... |

I think if you saw the car in person you might see that they actually "work" okay. I too would have liked smaller fronts... and we even had Schott make the front wheels narrower than their normal offerings. |
hey Greg, where 'ya been?
