Wait....after all the crazy detailed work on every inch of this car and you're going to put a wrap on it? :faint: Buddy :poke: WTH? :underchair: |

All the detailed work is gonna make the wrap look even better!! It's kinda like a pro-patina but just the next step up  I'd love to have an aged lacquer look but that's long gone so this is the next best thing .... wrap it and don't worry about the paint job! |
You are kicking butt now! I sat on mine for 6 months. Please post lots of detail on the wrap because I may do that on my car during the shakedown period. I realize the bodywork has to be pretty good even for a wrap.

Scott, thanks ... she's getting there! Pics to follow of course, been getting the shell as straight as I can before wrapping, waiting on my SPI epoxy to arrive! When you're back at it keep us in the loop, gotta keep on keeping on ... Michael |
Update 1/10
What to do while waiting for epoxy order? Well pick a task a :gitrdun: .
Got the body work sanded down to 320, I'll see how good it is when I spray black epoxy ... have a feeling there will be more filler work. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...922/3PQh5o.jpg First coat of Lizard Skin ... http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...921/5bZKq0.jpg So I put the first coat of Lizard Skin on the fenders, I'll let er dry and then stand the fender up and get a different angle for second coat. Thanks for looking ... |
What did that lizard skin bucket weigh full and after you are done ?
