Thanks! I agree on the comments about the direction for these types of build. I think many owners out there are finding a nice balance for these cars. The vehicles we see getting this treatment are usually ones where the styling has really stood the test of time and are now becoming appreciated for what they are. The owners would rather let the factory styling speak for itself and bring the internals up to modern performance and handling levels to compliment the outside.

I'm a little late to the thread, but I couldnt agree more, I'm really liking this type of trend and I know we'll be seeing alot more of it. Great work guys!

I love the first picture. The motor looks killer in there.

Thanks guys. We are excited to start seeing this one come together. We should be getting the custom gauges, machined parts, custom wheels, and a few other unique items right after the first of the year. The car will really take shape then. We will add more pics as things progress.

Time for some updates!
Realized I omitted a couple of pics before the body went on from the last update. Hope nobody minds...just some gratuitous IRS/chassis porn.:unibrow:

If ever a car needs a 'hood delete' option, it's this one. However, the 'sleeper' theme is rounded off with the hood going on.

The gauges also arrived last week from Classic Instruments who did an awesome job making them look as factory as possible. The speedo is now 160mph (110mph before), they created an 8K rpm tach and clustered the Fuel, Temp, Oil and volts into the left side pod. The numbers also 'float' on the lens like the original factory piece. The surround will be re-finished and chromed/painted to match the other dash pieces and the AC/vent piece posted previously.

WOW, just awesome. I love all the color/finish choices.

Is it bedliner you use on the floors? Looks great and still provides some contrast against the frame.
