I also has to give props to Cris from JCG! He took 3 hours of his time Saturday morning to the boys and I come by. He reviewed the progress of the project and what still needs to get done to complete it by SEMA. He gave the boys realistic advice and gave them a game plan. In addition, he is going to help them with some custom pieces to take the project to the next level. Some of the stuff will cross pollinate with first gen, so stay tuned.

The attention to detail of what Cris does is just at another level. Check out this neat replacement check valve for the master. It replaced the ugly plastic piece with this piece of functional art! He will also be doing a billet replacement reservoir tank for the master with a built in separate reservoir for the trans.

Thanks again Cris for all the help!

Al

Thank you for the props Marty!

Heck I called him and asked him if I could borrow his wheel tool that Mario had and without even taking a second to think about it he said sure no problem. Chris only knows me from this board and yes I have bought a few things from him. But to lend a $2500.00 tool to a stranger from Chicago say's a lot about his character.

I look forward to all of the post from JCG on this BB & on Facebook. He does some outstanding work and the best part he finishes his customer cars and doesn't break their bank.

ps looks like I am going to be ordering up this check valve for my car.

Incredible work, can't wait to see more. Way to go, guys!

This reminded me of a video we shot several years ago of the Rad Rides crew cleaning up the block on the Ridler car. This was the first time I had ever seen anyone block-sanding an cylinder head...

Kevin and all the guys on here, the boy really appreciate all the kind words as they know its coming from the best of the best.

Here is a neat piece that came in yesterday from New Zealand. It's meant for the Holden's but with some mods, it will work great on the project.

Normally these cars have an intake that makes an 90 degree bend from the TB to an air box on the drivers side. The wanted to have a true ram air effect, so this one will sit over the radiator and under the core. To make it work, the section mark off in the picture will need to be removed and boxed in.

What you don't see anymore in this pic are the 100 or so holes they've welded in on the frame rails and other sections.

You can see in this pics all the holes that hadn't gotten welded in yet. The over hang was also cut out (Still on in this picture) and now they are in the process of making a flat fire wall. I will say that it's not easy making these engine bays look good.

This is the same intake used on a race series in NZ and AU.
