Sorry I won't get to see it this weekend though.

Greg, it was great seeing you this weekend at the USCA event. Enjoyed hang in from the spectator box and talking cars...and tranny's!

Thanks man! The car ran great these past two weekends between GoodGuys and the USCA event at Texas Motor Speedway.

Check out these stats for the 37 registered cars at the USCA event...on the speed/stop challenge the event logged 740 laps. Heck I think I ran around 40 myself. On the auto-x there was 1264 laps run or 33 laps per participant. Today we ran 2100 laps on the road course and a few of us had mechanicals or just flat got wore out. There was only one car, Cheryl Herrick in her Jet Hot Nova in the final Advanced class that ran for a 12 minute session all alone. She had an instructor and was hitting the rev limiter going faster and faster. For me, this was an event like none other as far as testing car and driver ability. I give the sponsors (Optima, BFG, DSE, Ridetech, Jet Hot, Snap-On, etc.) and Jimi Day and his team/partners a major round of applause. It was safe, educational and very fun.

Here is a pretty cool pic of my Camaro on the road course. My day did end early when I lost a rear axle seal but I had a blast. Limped it home without incident and now am thinking what to do next. I'd love to install a 9" full floater. Hmm...Daytona is not far off on the schedule!

The Camaro looked and sounded awesome out there. It was certainly a true performer.

So what are the numbers for this beast.

Both cars look great, but I am a bit partial to the Trans AM..:) Great job on the T/A, you have taken it to another level.

Thanks Rodney. I have been all over the Gulstrand mod you suggested. Need to get some free time to make it happen.

The car has not been dyno'ed yet. It is supposed to go on the rollers thursday or friday.

The TA is 50/50 weight balanced and 3500lbs with driver and full tank of gas.

Thanks Jeff! It was a hoot. First time I had the Camaro on a road course. I've driven a few auto crosses over the past 3-4 years but the USCA event just took the whole experience to another level. My wife and I are thinking of doing the USCA event at Gateway Motorsports Park in July with both cars.

Sweet build!

Those TA are getting harder to find these days!
