Detailed pixs of the fender flaring would be great if you have any. The car is looking amazing, great work!

That is a 69 trans am hood, it is a goodmark hood. We did not flare the fenders, I actually had to move the fenderwells slightly forward to get the wheels perfectly centered in the openings. A lot of work, but with the effort

Hey ya'll,

I got some more updates today. Been doing some more metal work and created some custom inner fender wells. Also finishing up the firewall. I've also been having some more metal working fun on the hood inserts. Originally these pieces were plastic, but I think metal looks better. Should be getting the chassis back from powder coat soon.

Looking great, the inners clean up the compartment fer sure.

Man I wished someone made the TA hood for the Camaro, I'd be all over that.

Keep us posted ...

Nice fab work. The inner fenders look very nice. Have to agree that seeing the hood scoops in metal looks better and has more presence than plastic. This will be a very cool bird when done.

always been curious how a 69 Trans Am hood would look like on a 67-68

Hey ya'll,

Just got the chassis back from powder coat. We painted it the same color as the Forgeline wheels. I think it looks great.

Here are the wheels:

Here is the AMS chassis:

I also added a removable cross-member so we can service the transmission without having to pull the engine.

I really like the finish on the frame and rear end.

I also painted the LSX454 and ATS oil pan to match the frame. Should look pretty good when all assembled.

Right now I'm working on the custom bumpers per Ben's design. Going to recess the bumpers into the body of the car to give it a more sleek and polished look.

The frame looks great, the rear looks like its still wet. Painting the engine will connect it all together. Nice work..

Very nice!!!!! Love the color comb for the frame and engine.

Hey ya'll,

I have another update. Been working on the recessed bumpers to give it more of a sleek look. Bumper is shortened 2" and narrowed 1".
