Really neat to see all the mods coming through!
|
Awesome work! Can't wait to see the new suspension go it.
|
Thanks guys, this is going to a lot of work and I'm just sick enough to be looking forward to it lol.

So not a lot has been going on with the car. I've been getting things lined up in order to make this happen. I picked up a wrecked C5Z and dropped it off to get the frame back in check. This takes care of my fuel system, suspension mount points, some of the firewall, and trans tunnel.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0706.jpg While it's at the body shop I decided on Anvil carbon mirrors. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0705.jpg And then I started seeing if power mirror motors will fit. Going to be tight, but should work. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0704.jpg Last night I did some really rough mock up. And I mean really rough lol http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0702.jpg It's going to be really really close without cutting metal http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0701.jpg Today I built a frame jig that I could use to keep the car mobile, hold it from moving around and be able to mount brackets to help hold the new suspension in place. I still have some more body brackets to attach, but I got the harder stuff stuff done. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c8...o/IMG_0700.jpg |

This is going to be interesting watching this go together. I love the mirrors in Carbon fiber. I hope it works out.
