Not gonna lie, I had to Google “old people music” lol

It’ll be interesting to see the reactions to the car as it progresses on the other site, I’m willing to bet most will appreciate what’s been done. If not, no biggie.

Haha nailed it!

I used to work with a guy that said they should have never built cars past 65 and no wheels bigger than 15's.... he drove a 66 Suburban panel truck with 16's. This greatly explained these types of crowds to me.

You should Greg just to show guys this is 2018 and car building has come a mighty long way since 1965 that many of them are still living in. Some of the funny comments are how the old X-frame is still better than Charley's new frame because the corners are square and not rounded like from the factory. :waveflag: We just talked about why we love Lat-g in another thread and how over bearing some of these other sites are.

Very true! I've stopped reading and contributing to several other sites due to the attitudes of certain members. Some are so negative and set in their ways they can't just enjoy another person's idea of perfection - even if it isn't what they would have done.

My attitude: if it is gasoline powered, has wheels or has something to do with things that are gasoline powered and have wheels I'll probably find something I like about it. :)

all the good songs have been sung, all of the good cars have been built. I like the way a boat rides don't you?...

can you imagine where this world would be if everyone were some of like the people on that forum

Lateral G is the only car site I attend. There’s more pissbuckets and moped riders on other sites who are only there to criticize. The builds here are amazing along the lines of “when I grow up I want to be them”, but also the guy in his garage, scraping to get his ride done as best as he can...he gets cudos too. That, is what I appreciate most about Lateral-g.

Agreed Ummgawa. Honestly I feel the entire internet is going that way. Have you read any comments on a YouTube video lately? Seems like any creative sort who shares their work in the open gets a fair amount of hate mail for doing what they do from armchair coaches with years of experience in producing nothing but disappointments and failures.

Morning laugh from Charley:

"At 3500 rpm my engine makes 966 ft pounds of torque."
