My name is Mills, I live at the coast in Virginia. I am a mechanical engineer with GE. I've been around cars all my life, I grew up in a fab shop. I've had corvettes, corvairs, firebirds and camaros. Now I'm working on my '67 Camaro RS that I've had since High School. 26 years ago! I worked for a while with a Winston Cup team during college but when the wife and first kid came along, it was time to stop. I'm working on my car pretty hard now, before all the distractions of summer come. Soon I'll have to close the garage door and focus on the boat... Car has Corvette IRS, Mini Tubs, and I'm working now on designing the front Clip for C4 components, For power it has a destroked 400 with a Winston Cup T-10.

Hi – Great to see other Canadians here. My wife and I operate custom car shop called Remuda Coaches Inc in Nova Scotia, we build customs, hot rods and choppers. I am a racer though and though, I started in road racing in the early 80’s and raced both GT2 & GT1 – then switched to stock cars in the mid 90’s. I enjoy building and racing cars as well as building and driving hot rods – so much to do so little time.
My hat is off to all the talented people on this site, some of the work is beautiful and I enjoy going though the projects with my morning coffee admiring the workmanship. If any you folks decide on a real long rod run and find yourself in Nova Scotia please stop by the shop.
Cheers
Mack

Hey, my name is Bruce. (No, not the shark in Jaws). Live on the east coast of Florida. I have a very cool wife, boy and girl ages 7 and 4. Have a little corp. Primarily deal with flight avionics. The elevator speech to describe our company: if you have ever flown in a commercial jet, we are the people that ensure it flies right side up instead of upside down !

I'm not a real gynecologist, but I play one in the toolshed....
Hey... Brian here, and I'm a Project and Marketing Manager for an off-road fab and accessories shop... Trying like hell to get my side business for vehicle/graphic and web design pulled into a full-time gig.
Recently relocated to NC for wife's job, which means flying back and forth to AZ too often... Will probably just move back!
Been into cars my entire life, always wrenching on something either with my dad or friends, and looking forward to sharing that with my three boys (yeah, three boys. Think "quiet time", then imagine my house. ), and that has put our project car time on hold for a bit. Yet, the two elder kids (7 and 9) have been saving Birthday and Christmas money to put towards their own ride... I'm assuming the thought is to forgo college, and just build a car that can get me to the old folks home quicker....
I've extremely fortunate to have met some great people in the industry, and am just amazed at the quality of people in this community.

I'm Doug.
I live about smack dab in the middle of Minnesota(Little Falls).
I've been working as a machinist/fabricator/jack of all trades for 20 yrs.
Mostly custom one off designed machines, but have done plastic injection molding, production, repair shop and tool and die.
Went to school for automotive machining and worked at a local Napa for a few years and also building late model, sprint car, dirt track engines at a race shop about an hour from here.
I'm real close to going my own direction with the machining/fab work and may start building a 'bolt-in' chassis for 64-72 GM A-bodies.
Still working on a 65 Chevelle SS(13 yrs.)
Family, house and what not keep me from doing as much as I'd like, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.
I'll be the big 40 in about two weeks and I've been married for darn near 14 of those and have three great kids.(13,11 and 10)
Anywho, its good to know the background of who your talking to when you sign in here.
Everyone take care and keep it between the white lines.

Anything powered by gasoline or alcohol and designed to go over the speed limit is OK with me!!! (go karts to unlimited racing airplanes, and anywhere in between)
