I am afraid that progress has slowed down a little. I am waiting on a local shop to get me in for the exhaust work and after that the car comes home.

In the meantime, the dash is done:

I may add a thin trim ring to the fuel level gauge, just to make it match the tach and speedo.

I looked @ the image first. As soon as I did, I immediately thought "why can't aftermarket gauge manufacturers keep their 'series' offerings consistent regardless of size". Then I read your message text & felt better not being the only one that it bothers

Will you (Vic) machine one or are they readily available? What about a bezel for the Holley screen?

The rings around the large gauges are actually adapters to go from a 5" hole to a 4.5" gauge. The fuel level gauge was already the same size as the hole that was in the dash already.

If I want a ring around the fuel level gauge, it will have to be made. There is no room to add a bezel to the Holley dash, nor do I want to.

Alternatively, I can get black vents and paint the rings black.

I just think all black is boring. Shiny bits on the dash add interest and detail.

I forgot to mention, the little slot to the right of the steering column is getting one of these:

Knew I should've come to Lat-G to ask if something like this exists. Ended up buying a glorified cigarette lighter replacement. Much nicer this way!

Great Dash! I look forward to seeing it installed

I went over to Vic's today and did a bunch of little projects to get it ready for a move to Hotrod Express to do the exhaust system. I cleaned the underside as best as I could, installed the gas tank, tidied up any loose wires, and packed up all of the left over parts to take home.

While I was doing all that, Vic tipped up a trim ring for the fuel level gauge:

Some people had expressed a concern for a lack of trim ring, so there it is...
