That's how projects get carried away. Once you start seeing things come together so nicely it's easy to say let's do this and that. Before you know it it's a car too nice to drive.

Troy does outstanding work!

Small update from Troy. Bob(96z28ss) sent me the fuel door set up a while back and It looks awsome! The bumper is raised one inch to help fit the MCC tail pan.

Troy that looks awesome. I love the way you filled in the seam on the lower tail panel. It drives me nuts seeing a big gap. Fit and finish looks killer on the whole thing.... Your a lucky man Mario!

I don't need to add any attaboys -- but I'm sure impressed with the speed at which these boys work! And the work looks great!

A quick story. I called Troy a couple of days ago after looking at the Goolsby Lokar Camaro and told him I had to have that rear bumper. As always with Troy, not a problem he already had the bumper and pockets cut but could change it. But he would not do the bumper until he contacted Josh and asked if it was going to be a problem duplicating the rear bumper. Goolsby had no problem with it at all, even told Troy if he needed any info on how it should be done just give them a shout. Now to me thats CLASS! And personaly I think thats how it should be done. It would stop alot of the drama in my opinion. So after Troy sent the update I saw what was done and desided to leave it alone I like it! For me its looks awesome this way. Nice and simple.:D :lateral:

GregWeld 04-20-2012 07:12 AM

CLASSY AND CORRECT!

It's okay to copy a guy.... just have the balz to ask if it's okay.

Class Act for sure.

All Included, Troy for calling him and Goolsby for offering to help.

ps I am certain Troy was happy when you decided to leave yours alone.

I see a little dig there. We all have to let this good and do a group hug.

Well maybe not Rodger he's to dang tall for us short people and the last thing I would to be hugging is his belly.

Your telling me Jonathan and I had to stop production , and have an hour long meeting on the pros and cons of "allowing" you to copy the baddest 69 camaro bumper ever and then you decide not to ? c'mon J/k
It looks great , thanks for the compliments and the courtesy of the heads up , it's just a bumper , if no one wanted to do something like it , then it must not be appealing, thanks again though

An hour it took that long? Josh a couple of things factored into my disition. Troy was pretty far along with the original design and put a lot of work into what he did. That is your design and as strange as this sounds I think your car should be finished before any coping is done. After seeing the update I was happy with what Troy did! Bottom line is I see a lot of cool things on this board an can't keep changing everytime I see something I like.. Thanx again Josh you guys are the best!

waynieZ 04-21-2012 09:26 AM

Two great builders with awesome fab and design skills, best part for you is its a win / win with either design. I like what Troy did with the bumper.

John510 04-21-2012 11:43 AM

Awesome fab skills. I wish I knew how to do stuff like this.

BBT FAB 05-04-2012 02:16 PM

got the plate mounted and the bumper finished... more as well but no pics yet

Mario what did you use for the gas cap set up?

I love the rear bumper/tail panel fab! Do you have to remove the bumper to take the license plate off?

No, Troy has a little more work to do on the bumper..

Very Nice,

Steve68 05-06-2012 05:35 AM

I too like the tail pan and bumper, looks clean!!!

BBT FAB 05-09-2012 02:53 PM

In the photos above the bumper is not quite finished. also the license plate cover is a little larger than normal. You will be able to get the plate on and off with out removing the bumper.

small update:

We went with PRC radiators for a custom built to spec. radiator

They definitely make a nice radiator. Sweet looking radiator support. Did you use rubber radiator bushings?
