Dude, seem to have somehow missed your thread ----I have been busy with life for the past 6 months---have not had much in the way of time to spend online. Color is awesome--you guys have way too much money these days. Is Greg Weld sponsoring all of you guys or what?
What's the first event we will see you and the car at--if you had to guess? Congrads on all of your progress---and sorry to hear about you knee surgery. D |
Looking very good Ron....550rwhp is very easy what your working with.... going to be one hell of a ride bro.

I'm back. After 40+ hrs in a plane over the past 9days I cant believe I'm going to get in a plane again! Gonna be a shot gun trip though.....Monday nite to Wednesday afternoon.....we'll be in touch ;) |
Ron --- I'm sure it's posted somewhere but figured it's faster to just ask...
What grey did you use?? Looks to me like all Cris has to do is some assembly?? |

Assembly is something I am/was really looking forward to after the car came home. But watching all the killer work on Blue Balls I really wanted Cris to do my plumbing and that's where it started. Some of the mods require assembly to get it right so hopefully he'll leave a little bit for me to do! Blue Balls also got me to rethink my ride height - not too low, but it may take some fab we think. We'll get some drivetrain weight in the car and see where it goes. He'll also cut my tranny tunnel so we can drop my engine in and get my pinion angle correct. He's also gonna weld my DSE rollbar and a few other tidbits. Quote:

So? Wassup? :D

I need to switch the coil brackets Katech sent w the mounts and the motor is done. I have a pic if anyone wants to see it. Also, Cris and I will meet on Sat and review some project planning and then the cut off wheel will come out. I'll post updated pics soon! |

Talked to the same guy Ron....though the LS7 runner would be too short for your application, he could configure the LS3 manifold to fit. Just sayin...:unibrow:

It sucks when plan A gets fumbled but the new hood and the repaint are a drop in the bugget for this build. Every other part on this car is top notch. I say go for it!!
