Looks awesome! I think those wheels will look better with paint on the car. I think they look good on that style car.

Here's the link: http://www.introwheels.com/

Apparently these wheels are quite popular.

Swain 03-01-2012 09:45 PM

Greg,

Let's make some "One Offs". We can do some money sign wheels.

Vegas69 03-01-2012 09:57 PM

Is that Snoop in the drivers seat?

That wouldn't be my opinion -- but I'm hoping it's the camera angles... I'm reserving judgement til I see it next week... but right now... I'm a bit "stressed" to say the least.

coolwelder62 03-02-2012 05:57 AM

Good Lookin car.Perfect for Big and Tall guy's.:willy:

GregWeld 03-02-2012 06:46 AM

I've been "conversing" with The Rajha about these pics... because they're just plain weird to me.. and I'm 100% positive it's the camera angles used. So maybe he'll post up some pics and have Brycen take them so we get a normal view. :faint:

I'm not building a low rider hopper... and if I am... it stops today.

kennyd 03-02-2012 06:51 AM

that sits perfect for a 61-64 .

and everyone kiss my ass on my intros ! lol

Dude.... we're going to add a panel paint job and then with the Intros it'll be perfectly suited to cruising Ark Kansazz.

It's an extended cab to boot!

Greg,
I think it's just a combo of the low camera angle, standing close with a wide angle lens, and not having the glass in.

waynieZ 03-02-2012 09:30 AM

I think its the back glass being out , you don't realize how far back that back glass comes. I think it looks good..

We all like to throw some ribs at Gregs stuff. Seriously this car will be bad azz!
Its not a low as a low rider and not on dayton wire wheels.
look at these pics they look bad azz

syborg tt 03-02-2012 09:59 AM

Car looks nice - it appears to have a little bit of the Alloway rake.

Yes once the rear glass is in and you get a shorter guy to take a picture it will look normal and these wheels have timeless look no reason to buy some trendy wheels that will date the car in a year or two after it's finished.

Sieg 03-02-2012 10:08 AM

This is the angle that tells me the proper stance is obtainable:

I agree with everyone above Greg, The glass will make a huge difference. And like Marty said the wheels in my opinion are timeless, but you have to like it more than everyone else.:)

64pontiac 03-02-2012 11:03 AM

I think that the body line that drops to the rear is throwing off the stance too.... seems that the back needs to come up just a hair over "level rockers"?

+1 on the rear glass.

As far as wheels, I like them but if you did a mixed finish on them with some darker color in there it might make it look less 90's street rod. there is alot of cool components to that wheel and a ton of different ways you could do a two tone finish on that wheel!

GregWeld 03-02-2012 12:24 PM

I absolutely think it's too low... but that is totally adjustable -- and we are trying to see how low the Ironworks frame can go... Obviously -- Pretty low!

Rodger took the pics I've been whining about - while laying on the floor - with a FISHEYE lens... that distorts the view from being on the ground AND a fisheye stretches things in a funny way.

Trust me guys -- WE know a stance... so no need to break out the panel paint and lace yet!

Now where'd I put those hydraulic fittings.... :_paranoid

I just ordered a chain steering wheel for you also. Don't worry we can have it dipped in Gold for you.

You guys still using that cheap Gold - here in Chicago we use Platinum, Scandium and even that Carbon fiber stuff.

Gold it out man to much shinny bling

56pickup 03-02-2012 02:05 PM

Greg,

I think the stance looks great but I think the car could be raised up an inch or so. I also think that when the front bumper is put on you would be able to tell how low it really is. I really like this build and cant wait to see it when its done!

Musclerodz 03-02-2012 03:25 PM

its not any lower than a new corvette, just twice as long as one.

WSSix 03-02-2012 05:45 PM

I wouldn't raise it a bit. I love how long and low it is. Yeah, I like a lot of tastefully done low riders too. In the end, its your car though. Raising it a touch won't hurt the looks either. The car is going to be awesome that much is a given.

GRob 03-03-2012 12:48 PM

This could be epic but right now it looks too low. But the concept is brilliant. Really looking forward to this one. Check out Porsche for some metalLic browns.
