i saw the nova today at columbus . IT IS ONE MEAN LOOKIN MOFO. the sound of it running today at the autocross was just amazing. wow.
|
Anybody know if pics are going to be posted somewhere tonight?
|
You have to laugh that guys are commenting on an entire car when they have only seen a glimpse of the car and a shot of the rim and tire combo.
Everybody has the right to their opinions but come on at least get a good look first. Might look like crap but I would have to bet against that. Post the damn pics already!!!!!!!! |
it was hard to get a clean shot. so here ya go

Beast,
Can you get more specific about all the details you liked? Also, can you describe the sound it made that you mentioned? |
Thanks for posting that man...obviously the best pic most have seen so far, even with someone standing in front of it.
I for one am digging the fat rear tires and the wide aspect of the wheels. Can't wait to see more. I'm just loving the arrow-straight body and wow...dig those door gaps! |

i like the car as a whole. the wheels, stance and the paint just complemented each other. the sound ahh the sweet sound. ill quote what joe rogan said about the sick fish....it sounds like war. this car is LOUD! |

typical Troy quality, the guy is amazing. It was a treat meeting him and seeing your car in the earlier stages last year at his shop during Power Tour.

heres the last one i have.
http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/d...t/DSCN1174.jpg i love these wheels. |
Thanks Man:bow:
|
Thank you...
...so much for posting those beast, yes you're right, the wheels are sick but it's the combination of colors and textures that really turn me on.
The way that front bumper fits the fenders is well...pure sex and man:wow: ,I just am totally digging those door gaps, something Troy and his shop is certainly known for. |

'Back in the day' when i was in school, a 50 series tire was considered low profile. There wasnt anything less than a 50. That 45 on The nova may be tall compared to todays rubberband trend, but it looks tough in that wheelwell. I am digging it! That car is nicely done and not overdone. excellent job!
|
Damnnnn...how nice is that    to all who had a hand in building this vehicle..very drool worthy..
cheers Joe |

|
WOW!! Thats all I have to say!!
|
wheels, interior, bumper fit, lets hear it for the body work and paint, that parking lot stripe reflects like its painted on the car,to the bodymen and painter.......:hail:  :hail:
|
It's perfect!!!:wow: I get what they were going for here! Would you expect anything less from this builder. Way to go Derek.... Also I have my gun ready to fix that Lancer rocker let me know.
Mario |
VERY NICE!!!
The car looks amazing, but I think the wheels should've been a 18"-20" combo w/ black centers and polished lips, but that's just my opinion. Other than the wheels, I think the car is amazing, and I love the color! |
the show
Had an awesome weekend at the show. Met a bunch of guys off of here and everyone was great and had a lot of good things to say about the car. Words dont describe the sounds this car makes. The procharger is just plain nasty! Spent friday evening and sat evening hangin out with the guys from radrides, the ring brothers, Art morrison and a bunch of other great people after the show had closed. This was our first time to columbus and I HIGHLY recommend going next year!
And now....notorious! Finished http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...vatrailer3.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ovafront57.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...vaground34.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ovalineup4.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...novarear45.jpg |

The car looks amazing. Congrat's on the top five and I hope you get to drive the heck out of it now. The nova look's as sharp as a razor, Pun intended.
|
Congrats guys...Is there any video available of the Nova running???I would very much like to hear it if possible:D

That thing is awesome, great work guys. Congrats on the top 5 and being the only non-Camaro!
Please post some video when you get a chance, and a motor shot too. |
|
sounds good
|
you know before i didn't really like the car. but now after looking at it and seeing it drive by in the video, it is acctually a really really nice car.
|
Car is bad ass for sure. Blower whine is definitely cool, but when you are in front of the car when it is running, what is the clanging noise? I'm sure I know better, but it sounds like something is loose.
|
Man this is one bad ass car!!! I LOVE IT!! It just has this real mean agressive look
What color is that on the lip of the wheels?? |
Gotta say the car was wicked, but i have to admit the hour long talk with the owner was even better, we stood in the parking lot of the hotel and shot the shi% and that man is EXACTLY what we as builders dream of having for a customer, hats off to all involved and it was really cool to hear how he kept the whole build from his youngest son for 15 months so he could surprize him with the finished car!!! Very COOL. Rad rides did a wicked job as usual!!
