Coming along great with the car.

Thanks, yes the POR15 Metal Prep leaves a zinc phosphate coating on the rotor. I've used it for bolts before with great results so why not the rotors? Let them sit in the tub for 25 minutes to get the results I had ... no rusty rotors for this girl!

I hate rust!

Second side always comes out better!

Looks like a drunk did this one ... the trunk was sacrificial first!

Didn't quite make it to the end there!

Messing with self-leveling seam sealer on the drip rails and trunk ... lessons learned 1. FILL the void and the stuff will level bank to bank and 2. 10 minutes drying time is short and stop messing with it before you make it worse, lol.

So I'll have to sand some and re-apply to fill voids, and the driver's side A-pillar didn't flow all the way to the end ... passenger side DID, too much in the channel so I cut it with a razor and will conform with sand paper.

That's all for today, thanks for looking ...

Mikael, thanks ... the self-leveling seam sealer is really cool and flows out nice if you fill the channel side to side evenly, evidentially it's is smarter than me!! I get 'er in the whoops!!

I really don't like hanging doors and such ... finished some small stuff on the door (opened up the drain holes and welded the channel width) Gaps will need some work still and wrestled one in place! The AMD trunk fit like crap and needed persuasion and lots of bending at the corners to fit worth a crap :bang: Still needs some lov'in but it's good enough for now!

Not my favorite task ... oh well!

That's a good sign when there is a lock installed!

Still too high in the middle ...:bang:

Looking like a car again!

Lessons learned ... don't body work the trunk until you have fitted it to the body, grrrr!

Still need to get the other door finished and bolted on, thanks for looking ...

There's a guy over on Team Camaro that's having a hell of a time with his trunk as well. USA made 1/4's too. Trunk sits too low in the corners (hinge side) both the drivers and pass side.
