It cracks up my friends every time he does it  pardon the slurring, my meds tend to make me a bit loopy late at night :captain: here he is practicing his basketball hops and me doing my best impression of bigfoot. Funny critters for sure, if you can handle their 'gas' problems. He lets off more fumes than my big block  |

Dane: Does the #7 have a special meaning for you? BTW: The Guillstrand License Holder might get you out of a Ticket. If you have COP behind you, he will probably call in D7 502. I have a Bonneville Frame on all my cars and got pulled over. He said the Frame itself is why he pulled me over. Seems here, that if ANY part of the License is covered it is illegal. What did I do??? I left it. I like the way it looks and haven't been pulled over again since.:D Ty O'Neal |
Great info I was unaware of! I prefer the looks of the PS Engineering wheel and their fantastic build quality and the fact that they are made locally by a small business owner, but that seems like quite a headache, especially with my wilwoods. Lucky for me, PS Engineering is local to me and within driving distance. I was going to drop by and see what sort of sizing we can shove under the front and rear. I'd like to fit a 275 on all 4 corners.
There is also another alternative that I won't reveal until I can confirm they will actually make wheels for my application, but if they will, the end result should be REAL different, period correct, and stunning. I'm not so much a fan of the Team3 and Vintage Wheel works knockoffs. They don't look right to me, although they would work in a pinch. They're just not my first choices. I've also been in touch with BBS USA about a set of modular racing wheels like Big Red runs. Gold on Gold could be pretty cool, but at $4300 for a set, its a pricy option :_paranoid I desperately need some street rubber so its a top priority for me, along with the cage. Part of me wishes I had kept 12" brakes so I could run the white letter goodyears on legit magnesium minilites. I know of a set for sale. But one track day on the OEM style brakes was enough to convince me I needed a proper braking system. I'm simply pushing the car too hard to be skimping on things like safety and brakes. Will keep everyone in the loop on the wheel situation, I'm excited about it. Quote:

Dane: Frank has you pretty well trained!:D Just like in the old movies. The rich people pull a cord to ring a bell, and the Butler shows up. :unibrow: Cool Dog BTW. Ty |
Lucky #7.... Smokey Yunick ran #13, so I figured I'd do the opposite, seeing as he was never able to run that camaro #13 didn't work out too well for him...
Funny thing about those magnetic meatball numbers; they fly off around 110mph or so. I've lost 4 in the history of the car. One was stolen in Beverly Hills of all places, I lost one at Cal Speedway, and I lost one at a Buttonwillow Clockwise event as well on the main straight and again at a Buttonwillow CCW event. My friend even caught it on video flying off. Here is the video, you can see it fly off the passenger door and land on the track. It flys off right as I'm braking for turn 1 at 46 seconds  That reminds me, I need to order a few spares or find a different solution and in the future, tape the leading edge down. Quote:
