Find the Super Rod articles on the car. They did donuts for the photoshoot.

Thanks for explaining Duesenberg to me Bob and Doug. I've seen some of the build pictures and knew a great deal of work had gone into the car. I not being a rodder didn't know really much else beyond that but heard people talk about more than just the build quality.

Bob had it out at The Gadsden airport [on police radar] at 185mph... with enough room I think it will top 200...we will find out...

Scott Pruet drove it at Putnam Park road course and hit approx 160 on the front straight.

it will run 200+ with ease..it was pulling like a banshee at Gadsden which is a mile runway..of which you needed a bunch to slow down..I probably just accelerated it for about 1/2 mile or a little more..

Doug,
If I said yes I think Marty and a few others on here might not like that idea. I've been bribed before with that hole plane ticket thing. In my opinion though nothing beats a well built California car. I promise it will have the nations best plumbing on it :unibrow: My buddie Allen Palmer is a pretty darn good painter. :hail: And I think that guy Tracy some where in the middle of you and me might be able to get down on some bad a$$ stichen to get it finished up on it's way home. Just a tought?

Mark, My buddy Alan wouldnt appreciate me doing that! And I think he's proved cars out of the east aren't too shabby either! SROYx2 SMOY RIDLER SHINE AWARD CHRYSLER DESIGN AWARD etc...LOL
my point was it's just easier to FLY you across the country than haul the car... we hauled Alans roadster and the B400 to South San Francisco for Steve Coonan at Rodders Journal to shoot them in raw steel because of his time restraints and travel schedule!

Now with that said if you and Tracy wanted to have the Honor of doing a car for me than... LOL!

200mph for a car nowdays is no hill for a stepper..That damn Lambo Gallardo hitting 250mph in a mile ain't too shabby..9.1 in a quarter at 168 mph with street tires..whoever heard of such..I've always hated Lambos, but this setup is giving me a chubby...and at 65 yrs old, that's saying something..
