Thx Men....sorry no tease inended. Need to go to dinner and wanted to sneak in a few pics. I do believe an LS3 based 416 w good heads and propper cam is a great way to spin up R's, but I had a chance to grab this and I was heading toward 400+ so it just made sense to do it now. Here's the plan:

Break it down, mic/blueprint everything and machine where necessary. Slight port on the LS7 CNC heads, possibly thow some Manley race valves in there (tbd). Match a cam to the best flow rate I can get. Order some custom Mahle pistons (builder likes those) and coat those and the stock titanium forged rods. Crank is already forged and balance the whole assy. Zero balance the alum Mcleod flywheel. This should give me as strong a bottom/top end as possible, but I'm open to critique...

I'm leaning toward an update to the dry sump system. I'll get w Jon @ Speartech and get a flash to match the mods for initial start up and then go to a chasis dyno....once i get out of jail and finish the build. :haha:

Ron, that color is the shiznit. It looks beautiful on your car. I ain't gonna lie though, I'm going to have to steal that for my next project...the C10. Hey, I want to see pics of the powder coated subframe. By the way Ron, thanks for all the advice you have been giving me lately. :hail:

Subfr pics are days away Marcus. Just need a reassemble and take a money shot. No need to thank me for our friendship Bro. I'm diggin' every minute...
