I love to get the details on this little motor? I guess you could say Im window shopping for a new powerplant.

Basics that I know about...

Ford 302R block (racing block)
Eagle forged crank
J&E 12.5:1 forged pistons
Oliver rods
Edelbrock Victor/Mark Chapman heads
Titanium valves - locks - retainers
Solid roller cam - .650 lift... 258/[email protected] - 108 LSA
Victor intake/holley carb
Bored and Stroked to 355"

My SBC 408 - has a very light rotating assembly (Honda rod journal size - Gun Drilled Crank) and rev's smoking fast.... but this little SBF rev's faster than anything I've ever owned.

You also have a set of custom tuned stainless headers that were over 5K.

Sorry -- forgot to post that....

Bore is 4.082"

Stroke is 3.40"

Oliver rod is 5.400"

Yeah -- When Tony Jr. gave me that number on the phone -- I had to swallow and ask again... thinking I heard wrong. Kind of explains that quick rev I like so much.... well... that and maybe some help from 12:5 CR... and a little 110 octane... :hail: :hail:

Vegas69 10-28-2011 07:06 AM

Kinda makes sense that Weld would have the shortest stroke....
