Jack - With the 3.89 rear ratio, are you running a close or wide ratio T56?

Seats and frames were modified in order to get the seat as low as possible; yes they are comfortable and offer pretty good support. I used to run the same seats in what is now Greg Weld's 65 Mustang for track events, but later changed over to a Sparco seat.

The selection of seats was another decision that took awhile. Recaros are very nice, expensive and the shape of the Recaros just did not work with the look I wanted. The Procar seats have been reshaped a bit along with cutting down the height of the headrest. The rear seat is the original stock frame, but built up to have a similar look and shape to the front seats. The interior complete was $7,500.

so, here's the big question. Are you going to take this on Power Tour this year with Charley? :peepwall:

The power tour was one of the reasons the car was built, but Charley has not shown any interest in doing the power tour with me. I think he is still mad about not getting the title for the 65 Mustang I sold him back in 2007 that is now owned by Greg Weld. Now that I found the vin tag and mailed it to Greg, maybe Charley, once he gets more $$$ from Greg will want to renew the friendship.

 You will have a blast if you go. I remember you wiping down the Mustang top and bottom after each session on the track. You may have to let the underneath go until you get home from the Tour.

That's not likely to happen Jack. The first night at dinner at Casa Ramos... you were out and I was in.

On the '65 Mustang -- I figure HE owes me a motor... and a transmission... and a set of tires... and a toter home... as well as a title.

He's never invited me on Power Tour either... because I can only be taken in small doses and the thought of me hanging around for 9 days gives him shrinkage. :warning: :D
Just wait til I have a driver follow me on the PT with "the rig" and I have comfy quarters to sleep in every night - my bbq fired up - and the big screen on... car comfortably parked in the garage every night... HA!

Greg, I have a Class A DL, I'm a grillin' Guru, and I never hog the remote for the big screen. Just need room for my cooler! I think Melissa can do without me for nine days.

^ I can vouch for the cooler part...:D

Ok, I'll admit he's a pretty good dude too
