I like the color choice on the engine and frame, Eugene. Rear bumper's looking good, too. Keep it up!

Do you have any photos of how you are going to run the exhaust to the rear? Over the top of the rear end or below it? Also, are you going to run an X-pipe set up connecting the two sides of the exhaust? Thanks.

Hey ya'll,

Today I have some really exciting updates. The car is really starting to come together nicely.

Just finished spraying primer on the firewall and underside of the car:

I'm really happy with the way the rear end came out. The custom pedestal/ducktail hybrid spoiler and recessed bumper really make it pop.

One of the challenges we had is that in order for it to "look right," we had to move the gas lid up over 1" so that it's vertically centered between the trunk and bumper.

Here is a really great profile shot:

I also did a lot of work on the exhaust cutouts. I added a nice contour that fit the new style and stance of the car:

And finally I have completed the metal work on the 69 Trans Am hood:

I think the steel hood inserts give the car a more aggressive and consistent look when compared to the factory.

I am going to run the exhaust over the rearend, but unfortunately there is no room for an x pipe. I will have some picture of the completed exhaust later this week I hope.

Also thank to everyone for the kind words and replies

Hey ya'll,

I got some exciting updates for today. I was able to get the engine all dressed up and mounted in the chassis. I also installed the suspension and brakes.

I made a special conduit through the driver's side of the chassis to run all of the gas and brake lines. This way nothing hangs below the chassis and looks nice and clean.

Also mounted a remote oil filter up front.

Man, you're making some serious strides! Always nice when you start seeing colors on the finished product. Keep up the good work!
