Yeah, Mike's poor (brand new) phone got properly broken in that day. Goldstone's Drag Week Javelin was a few cars after mine. Wasn't able to get a readout but usually over 2000 at the tires. In that small room, LOUD doesn't even begin to describe it.

A buddy gave me a pair of slicks so I decided to hit up the drag strip again. Kind of surprised me, it picked up a bunch. Best was a 11.14 @ 125.5 with a very soft launch. I was launching harder later in the day but unfortunately the 2nd and 3rd gear syncros I've been nursing along decided not to play nice and I lost time in the middle of the track waiting for it to go into gears. It's got a high 10 in it for sure.

Got a cool opportunity to attend Ron Sutton's suspension workshop at RideTech's shop. Highly recommended, the guy knows his stuff. And RideTech was impressive, I'm real tempted to upgrade to their stuff. The shop is only 400 miles away so of course the Jeep got to see some road time. Added flex fuel capability the day before the trip, got 13.3 mpg over the 842 miles. Picture taken at RideTech.

Then this past weekend I finally cracked the 10 second barrier. Drove to the track, swapped tires, and ran 10.97 @ 125.2 on the first pass. Swapped the street tires back on and ended up going a best of 11.50 @ 124.2 on the second try. Still only on 7 psi of boost and a super conservative tune.

An older pass but showing the speedo and tach.

Awesome runs at the strip and it was great meeting you at Ron Sutton's work shop at Ridetech .

I remember when people trailered 12-second cars to the dragstrip. This Jeep is an awesome example of some of the best advances in modern technology, i.e., freakish speed with the novelty of reliability (or better still, drivability). Nice work!

Thanks, it was great meeting you as well! Ron's workshop was excellent. Post a couple pictures of the Nova if you can.

I'm guilty, I used to trailer my old 11 second Jeep unless it was something local. I don't know what I'm more happy about, the 10 second pass or the 11.50 on the 200 tread wear tires. The new technology just makes everything work that much better. I honestly don't think twice about hopping in this one and driving it a thousand miles.

Finally got to make some autocross runs this weekend. I had a hard time during my timed runs but my friend ended up getting 3rd in CAM (they combined all 3 CAM classes). After competition I was able to get some clean runs in. The Jeep was pretty decent for the first outing. No real complaints except I need more seat time.

My second best pass, the camera died just before my best.

Brad's passes.

Love it!

Love the ingenuity and the fact that it is just "different". I've always been a closet AMC fan. Keep up the great work.
