Yes Sir!! As close as I've ever had to a real lens. I hope the 18-135 is close because it's a LOT smaller and lighter! I packed the new one 1.5 hours this morning...........guess it could be considered exercise. :sieg:

I was at the Palm Springs air museum when a B-17 and P-51 were there for a show. They did multiple passes on the deck, the B-17 slow and low (50-75') with the P-51 tight on top of it, then the P-51 did a low high speed fly bye that was flat out awe inspiring. The sound is something else, especially when paired with the beautiful fuselage styling.

Definitely a cool shot, the clouds really make the photo. Look's as if it could have been shot with a GoPro.

'Wow' on the view and the colors in it.

Another shot off our deck; just used the iPad. I never get tired of looking at Lake Ontario shimmering from the sun. Pic doesn't do it justice of course.

Skip, if you have some polarized sun glasses, try taking that shot through the sunglass lens and see what happens.

I'm really liking the images my new Canon 18-135 STM lens is delivering!
For a cheap ($400) lens it's pretty sharp handheld.

Washington State, rode the loop around the hood canal again yesterday, stopped by Lake Cushman and snapped a quick pick w/my handy dandy cheapo camera but you get the idea. It was 93* out and saw a lot of old cars and bikes also doing the loop. If your ever in the area, it's a can't miss ride.

Since the newspaper here posted this pic of the John C Stennis, thought I'd share. This is what I do to make ends meet.
