That's a good video! I forwarded it to a few folks I know that need some education.
Funny how the anti gun crowd will only argue that "nobody needs a gun"... but it's these same flower power folks that will march on anything that has to do with "rights". Pretty ironic. |
To anyone who is for 'gun control'... ask they HOW they will take the guns?
The ultimate answer they come to, is they'll use guys with 'guns' to take your guns. They aren't for gun control, but authoritarian control of people who's agenda they don't agree with. |
I watched Piers Morgan the other night just to get a perpective on his views..
He was at a Gun range, and he was shooting an Assaust style weapon. He was talking about it's rate of fire, ect...That it is a Semi automatic weapon.. Then he goes and shoots it in full auto mode... There is no way he was firing semi auto when the bursts of bullets were coming out 10 at a time...:confused59: :lostmarbles: I tried to see if he was going to be impartial, but his display of lying to the public continues...:warning: |
Quote:
These are completely legal, so while I don't know what he was using, it's definitely possible to have an absurd rate of fire without the weapon being considered 'full auto'. |
Doesn't make sense to me...
It looks like a full auto weapon to me.... That is probably what he was firing.. |
People that don't know squat about guns are going to class a perfectly legal semi sported with a military select fire AR-15. If you are going to try to fight something you would think you would at least educate yourself.
In an interview he asked, why do people need these semi automatic weapons of war that has the ability to spit out 100 rounds a second and kill thousands? |

I had to laugh... REALLY?? With what?? They're armed and the people aren't. Vote the idiots out that vote for gun bans and other such stupid ideas. |

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :sieg: :sieg: :sieg: :confused59: This week's outrage comes to us courtesy of the anti-gun Reverend Jesse Jackson. Rev. Jackson is not in the news as much now as he once was. When you do hear from him, though, his comments are still laced with his usual dose of hyperbole. That predictable pattern continues with Rev. Jackson's recent comments on semi-automatic firearms. According to an article appearing on TheBlaze.com last month, Rev. Jackson believes that semi-automatic firearms must be banned because they could "shoot down planes" and therefore constitute a risk to national security. The Blaze ran a follow-up story debunking the claim, but that didn't seem to deter Rev. Jackson, as this week he boldly declared that, in addition to shooting down planes, semi-automatic firearms could also be used to "blow up railroads." "You know that these weapons can shoot down airplanes, they can blow up railroads. This is really a whole national security issue," Rev. Jackson said in a recent interview on Fox News. Blow up railroads? What in the world is he basing that claim on? If Rev. Jackson is interested in the facts and wants to return this debate back to earth, he should know that semi-automatic firearms were introduced in the late 1800s, and have been popular for self-defense, hunting and target shooting ever since. Forty percent of all uses of firearms for self-defense are performed with semi-automatic handguns, and all firearms used in the annual National Rifle and Pistol Trophy Matches are semi-automatic. Though he seems to know very little about semi-automatic firearms, we assume that we will continue to hear Rev. Jackson make outrageous claims about this issue in the future. No doubt Jackson won't be able to help himself, as he craves the spotlight to continue to push his agenda, using bizarre and truly outrageous claims. The anti-gunners--including Rev. Jackson--will stop at nothing to get what they want: a ban on your lawfully owned firearms. They will literally say anything they think will help them achieve their goal. |
I cleaned my Kimber today.... so satisfying.

That's it! I've had enough! I'm getting a California Bullet button installed on all my guns and loading more assault ammunition with my auto-loading assault ammo press. :D

Watching the local news this morning and sipping my coffee -- I'm surprised and shocked to see them actually run a story AGAINST gun buy backs....saying that they don't work. DOH!

Thank you, Jon -----Original Message----- From: Sara El-Amine, BarackObama.com Subject: Join our first national Day of Action Friend -- In his State of the Union address, President Obama reminded us: The victims of shootings like those in Newtown, Aurora, Oak Creek, and Tucson deserve a vote on legislation that will reduce gun violence and better protect our children and our communities. So this Friday, February 22nd, Organizing for Action volunteers all around the country are participating in a Day of Action focused on one simple goal: get Congress to pass legislation to require universal background checks and remove loopholes. There's an event near you in Eugene -- will you be there? Here are the details: What: Day of Action event in Eugene Where: 8th & Oak Eugene, OR 97401 When: Friday, February 22nd 5:30 pm The President has already taken key steps, but Congress needs to act, and we need to demand it. Requiring background checks for all gun sales is a common-sense solution that 92 percent of Americans, 89 percent of Republicans, and 74 percent of NRA members support. We've got to keep firearms from getting into the wrong hands -- and this is a crucial first step. So come out on Friday in your community and make sure your representatives and senators know where you stand. Or maybe you're concerned by what you see on the news. Whatever your reason, those in Congress who oppose sensible change need to hear from you: Share your personal story or views on why Congress should act right now to help protect our kids and reduce gun violence. Your story will inspire others to speak out and show legislators that now is the time. President Obama said it: "More than a thousand birthdays, graduations, and anniversaries have been stolen from our lives by a bullet from a gun" in just the two months since the tragedy in Newtown. Each of those families deserves a vote by Congress on commonsense measures to help protect our kids. But we need to demand it. It's easy to share your story or point of view: 1. Provide your basic information. (Please note: For your privacy, we'll only publish your city and your first name and last initial.) 2. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens because you believe that the criminals have too many guns, is like having yourself castrated because you believe the neighbors have too many kids.
