Hey John, I can't believe how the car is coming together! I think I'll have about 114 hrs in your car in the last 2 weeks and its getting me excited to see the final product.
I love standing back with Rodger and talking about whats next. the car is looking pretty awesome and I must say that the exhaust looks absolutely freakin bad ass! I'm learning alot about finishing the details so thanks to you and Rodger for the opportunity to do the work that I have done.

Rick D 04-22-2008 09:18 PM

So to answer your question, YES there will be a Procharged LS Nova in my trailer with Fikse's and Bfg tires going to Columbus with the C6-57.

Soon, John has been burning both ends of the candle with his new business venture. It is sitting right out side my office and it is looking GGGOOOOOOOODDDD. I will be bringing one of the well known Nova projects with the C6-57 truck project to Columbus.

hey John, just checked out your site, your designs look the biz!

PS I think you mentioned earlier in this thread you were a musician. What do you play? I'm still a gigging musician but work in propery investment during the day. (have to wear long sleeves in summer to cover my tattoos)

PPS Build looks great, except its inspired me to start the planning process of fitting a IRS into my 69Dart

Thanks! Fall should be pretty cool too! We're going to introduce some Hoodies and Thermals!

Yup! You read right! I got to do some pretty fun tours in my R & R days! I play guitar, bass, trumpet, just enough drums to set a beat for scratch tracks and piano!

Go for it! I'd love to see how the IRS turns out!

John

linkstar69 05-15-2008 06:15 PM

Irs

Yeah the IRS will be great when installed but in the design stages the biggest challenge for me is adapting the the late IRS (from the late model Dana built ford we have over here) to suit the "A" body track width while maintaining good suspension geometry.
I guess thats where projects like yours shine because that is all accounted for from the onset.
The rest of the car was planned out but I have to admit the decision to go to IRS has only happened in the last few months which has sent the rear of the car back to the drawing board.

Hey I play bass too, for me the most amazing place I've toured with music would easily be the middle east.

WOW! Cool! What was the crowd like playing there? I never got to play the middle east. Where did you play? Dubai? Did a euro tour with Nirvana right as "Smells Like Teen Spirit" started blowing up! Mayhem to say the least!:unibrow: :D Did a canadian tour with Green Day opening for us! Strange how the tables turn. Did a second euro/japanese/australian tour that we co headlined with a little hollywood band called The Cramps! Creepy people but super fun and really nice! Got to do a Western US tour with Tool! Ah, what fun days when all I had to worry about was where I was going to get my next beer and my next girl!;) :D

Business Plan

John,

Hope your new business cranks! Your products look great.

How's this for a business plan:
1) Design shirts
2) Sell shirts
3) Sell more shirts
4) Work on Nova
5) Sell more shirts

Your Nova is lookin' good. Hope to see a nice 'Crossbar' on it in the future.
