They do look different with the outline stripe and body style for sure. I love your body color choice too.

Matt is determined to add weight to the car wherever possible

camcojb 05-04-2024 09:02 AM

Well, this one is going to be a great cruiser, probably the quietest one you've had.

……and yes we use ARP bolts about wherever possible. Of all aftermarket stuff that has come out over the years ARP has to be one of the best things to have come out.

Getting tired of straightening up your pics. Tell Matt to take the pics in landscape not portrait mode with his damned Apple product. Doesn't happen with Androids... :underchair:

I am interested in getting some of those washers that you have in the door hinges !!! I've been using the standard stainless washers that come with the ARP bolts, but what you have take the detailing to a whole new level. Do you mind sharing the source of those ?

Thanks,

Jason

clill 05-15-2024 05:14 PM

Matt says Dutchboys has them made and he thinks they sell them now.

I'm lucky to be able to hire talent like this as I would have run out of talent long ago trying to do work like what they are doing.

Actually Jody, those washers are something we manufacture at Dutchboys Hotrods. While the ones you posted above are very similar ours have a small paint relief on the backside so during tightening they will not damage the surrounding area paint.

Wow Camaro is turning out great fellas. Are those window regulators in the above pictures? If so they look brand new or have they been restored. Is there a hardware kit available for them that you know of ??? Not sure I bagged and tagged mine when they were taken out

I would assume these are all bead-blasted originals from the car, seeing that it was a complete car to start. Good question on a full kit. I would talk to any of the suppliers and see if they can put together an order for you with all of the hardware that you need.
Matts Classic Bowtie or Camaro Central might have them

Those are orig. parts that Matt had replated.

I’m fascinated by the brake lines on this car. Next winter, I’m going to hire a guy that comes out to the house that will do the brake lines in my car.
