Ron, how big is that dry sump tank? I've got an Autorad core on the way and a 2 gallon tank sitting here that should package very similar. Now I won't have to guess at it.

Are those LG uprights?

Hey Donnie. It's a 2.5 from Peterson and it is tight! They actually have a part number that starts (ends?) with 'ATS'. Tyler's fingerprints all over this car. And yep, modified LG Spindles, custom fabbed steering arm. Drops the car about 3/4" and adds 1/2 deg neg camber.

Appreciate that Greg! How's your car coming along. Did you ever move on that rear mounted dry sump? I found it next to impossible unless you fab it in from the start...[/QUOTE]

No Ron, I ended up in exactly the same place as you, I must get around to starting a build thread some time.

Ya know ron when I was typing my post I was thinking that you were gonna have a nice smart azz comment like this lol. I know I've been MIA for almost a year and it's nice being back. The last 2 years have been really chaotic. Been going thru a 2 year long divorce/custody battle which has been more than draining but I was awarded custody of my son :woot: :woot: and I met a great gal and I just had a little girl (Savannah Rose) a month ago. To top it all off the county forced me to move my shop from home to a commercial location. Which with all going on having to spend another $2k/mo for spot has been tough but honestly is paying off with getting more local exposure and enabled us to become more diverse in our offerings. Thanks for the warm welcome back buddy and just so you know I'm back in full force.

x2 Luke!

So a tiny update and (sorry) no pics. I've been really swamped w work lately and so has Brett but he's making progress. I stopped by on Friday and the car looks great. I bought the same travel Ridetech trips as Brett and it did set my car up about an inch. We think we can get at least half that back with interior, fuel and exhaust weight and there's about a half inch of adjustment left in the front. The rears may require a size smaller spring which would still keep the shock in the sweet spot for the little drop I'd need. I would describe it as about the same height as Stacey Tucker's 69 currently.

All the plumbing is laid out, and a few mounting brackets need to be fabbed for some of the reservoirs and then it's onto final connections. XRP fittings and hoses throughout. Brett did a good job economizing the runs with his layout.

Most all the wiring is stubbed out to final locations, and we think we have entire design locked down. With a little persuasion on the lower valence, Brett mounted the Marquez driving lights and they look F'n sick. I could visualize the DSE bright driver lights above them and they're a pretty good match.

I have a small shopping list for the cold air intake and some fluids (!) I'll pick up in the next week or so and then it's on! :action-smiley-027:
