Nice work as always Chief! Glad your back at it.

Great attention to detail as always. One thing I would suggest is to use some kind of fan controller that gives you more than a simple on/off. These fans are noisy when running full speed. Entropy has a two speed controller or better yet the continuously variable PWM controller from DC Controls works great.

Don, thanks, I do have the Entropy speed controller … uh, somewhere that I haven't found yet. I will use their controller as soon as I find it, I'm also looking for my Rick's fuel pump pigtail for the SS Camaro fuel pump. :EmoteClueless:

Update 8/6

OCD taking over here ... but I would bet no one ever thought to check the ID of their brand new AN-3 fittings! Well I received my Fragola fittings for the brake lines, mainly bulkhead fittings and some 90 and 45 degree fittings and after inspection I noticed there was a difference in the 'shoulder' of many of the fittings at the 37 degree flange. So I investigated the difference and found the straight through fittings would easily accept a 1/8' drill bit … hmmm, so I went through the entire order of fittings and made them all 1/8" minimum. I put the drill bit in the vice and 'hand drilled' the fitting onto the bit. Most obstruction came from the bulkhead fittings with 90 and 45's that weren't drilled all the way through to the end [if that makes sense].

Definitely time consuming, but a task I needed to get done to ensure all ID's were the same. Pictures may not be that good but you get the idea :shakehead:

I got the brake lines mocked up and will steady the course and continue the task of routing the brake lines …. thanks for looking!

Uodate 8/10

Electrical going well …. mostly routed to not interfere with other things, mainly worried about how much space those VA hoses take up.

Placed each system close enough to where they need to terminate to get the BIG Picture so far. Waiting on some bulkhead pass throughs before I commit to drilling holes in the tulip panel.

And … does anyone know how to wire this Rick's Fuel Pump connector? I left a message with Rick's but heard nothing back yet. I have a fuel gauge feed wire to the back of the car but not a fuel pump feed yet.

Thanks for looking ….

Black and white to the connector are fuel pump power and ground. Black is ground.

The tan and black/white wires are the fuel sender and fuel sender ground.

Don, thanks bunches, that's what I thought too. Just confusing why they would put male spade connectors on the sender unit? Basically they added the fuel sender wires into the red flex wrap so you could get to it from the trunk.

Thanks again

ran into fitment problems … the Wilwood proportioning valve combo mount wouldn't work … seems when you add a clutch master cylinder plate to your firewall you don't have any threads left on the upper MC mount. :EmoteClueless:

Thought of using new bolts [which meant taking out the steering wheel and the under dash brace and pressing out the studs and adding new ones] but after a sleeping on it I said "why can't you just turn the bracket over and use it on the left side?" So that's what I did, trimmed the bracket, got new nuts to clear the valve handle, cut and painted it with SEM black :gitrdun:

Finished the install of the AAW 15 waiting on the bulkhead plugs.

Made order out of the chaos RacePak, notice my Excel spread sheet :mock:

This was not going to work on the right side anyway … Speedtech down bars want to occupy the same space!
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/8906/V2rMiZ.jpg
So turn in upside down and put it on the left side, hey!
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img922/2342/D1GlHI.jpg
That's mo better.

Figured since I was in the engine compartment I'd form the hard lines. I'm glad I choose the NiCo lines cuz I would have messed up some SS. The SS coil lines were harder then heck to cut but look nice.

Now to disassemble and send back the MC for the recall … thanks for looking!

Update 8/17

Been doing a little this and that ... made some brake lines from the proportioning valve to the bulkhead fittings, came out pretty good. My battery came in so I worked in the trunk and now I will be going to the chiropractor tomorrow :ohsnap: I'll work on the rest of the brake lines next.

First time I made battery cables from scratch, Kevin loaned me his crimper and cutter to get' er dun, thanks bunches. I climbed in the trunk and drilled and tapped a ground on the roll bar and mounted the mega fuse in an accessible place, well sorta, hopefully I'll never have to replace it.

Drilled a hole in the driver's side tulip panel and pulled the forward wires through, still need to add the power and the switch wires for the horns, which just came in, Hella of course.
