Wiring, Wiring & more Wiring - The Clean Up ((09-07-20 )) Part 2
So how is it possible that I used all of these tools.
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...2991cbb-me.jpg Moving to my next project. I don't have many wires that I want to label so as much as I want the really nice label maker I am going to do it the poor man way. So off to Office Depot to Dymo Label maker for $40.00 and some clear heat shrink tubing. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...1aa06aa-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...c2eb9d3-me.jpg So here is my first try and I think it worked good enough for my little project. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...2ea359b-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...94989aa-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...5484189-me.jpg Sometime I wish I had a 3rd arm to help hold wires while I am soldering. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...b681cea-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...bac86cc-me.jpg |
My Dymo uses heat sensitive label material, they turn black when heated.. found out the hard way :D

2nd Chance Camaro - Let the Project Begin

Well it looks like I am going to do some testing with a hair dryer. Not sure how much of and issue it will be on the inside of the car. More worried about the stuff in the inner fender. Edit I did use a heat gun to shrink the heat shrink tubing. What’s your thoughts ?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Marty,
Can you tell us where you got that clear heat shrink assortment? Thanks in advance. |

Hella Horns - Gotta Have Them (( 09-12-20 ))
One thing that I really wanted was a nice loud set of horns and I am pretty confident these will work just fine.
Hella Part # 011225802 $12.83 http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...64eb888-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...fcdc701-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f9474ac-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...0e65300-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...8e7089f-me.jpg |
Holley EFI Relays - Weld Studs (( 09-13-20 )
One of the benefits of the DEI X-Mat is you can push the weld studs into and make a perfect circle. I will be mounting the Holley Relays to these studs.
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...0703807-me.jpg It's important that you remove all the paint before you bond them. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f878ee3-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...b32c86c-me.jpg |
Organizing my mess (( 09-15-20 ))
Not only do I take a lot of notes I do my best to keep them very organized so I can find things when I need them.
