Here are some shots from the Pleasanton Goodguys Autocross.
Mike Maier, Maier Racing, in the Mustang had the overall fastest time and won the Vendor class. Mary won the Street Machine 55 and newer. http://i676.photobucket.com/albums/v...ITE/maier1.jpg http://i676.photobucket.com/albums/v...ITE/maier2.jpg http://i676.photobucket.com/albums/v...LITE/mary1.jpg http://i676.photobucket.com/albums/v...LITE/mary2.jpg |
Hi, these are some other pics that I got while at Goodguys Pleasanton. Not sure who owns the Chevelle but it looked good. There was another 65-67 Chevelle there running that was a supercharged sbc but I failed to get pictures of it.
http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0116.jpg http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0118.jpg Another pic of Mike Maier, this was taken on the same lap as the first picture Brian posted, 3 frames later... http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0045.jpg Some more of Mary Pozzi... http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0057.jpg http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0060.jpg I thought this was a cool picture cause it shows Mary giving a fellow car guy some insights of where to be looking. Not sure what kinda car this was, but I know it was Corvair powered with some pretty meaty Toyo R888's. http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0129.jpg |

http://i577.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/DSC_0129.jpg[/QUOTE] I'm pretty sure it's a "FrogPod". Thanks a bunch for the pics---they are excellent---if you have others, please put them up!! Doug |
Nice pictures guys! Thanks for sharing....
When driving fast - you want to be looking ahead - WAY ahead - and in a corner you want to be looking at the exit even if that means your head is 90 degrees from where you currently are... Your peripheral vision will get you through the turn. This is what my instructors have told me.. anyway. It seems to work. Now, if I could just get my peugeot up to speed... |
