Cool build.
Looks very similar to the Chevron sold in Argentina. |
Sorry for not doing an update in a while. blocking and sanding and getting this all perfect before paint. here is a few shots.
The inside of the door. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps258fcdd0.jpg Door jam. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psde3aa123.jpg The Side shot. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...psef2ab70a.jpg The front shot. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3d64fb14.jpg We have some more work to do to get it right where we want in before it gets painted. Still working on the rear of the car to figure out if we are going to do anything to the tail lights. We are also going to tuck the Nova rear bumper in closer to the side of the body but not change the look of it. Stay tuned,,,Ed |
Thanks for the update. I have to say I really did not like this idea when I first saw it and now I find myself checking in everyday for an update. its looking better than I thought it would.

Nice work, I like it!

Wow, that is a really cool project!!
|
I agree with keeping the Nova rear pan or the roofline will be the only clue it has Nova DNA. I would ditch the vinyl roof but other than that it's looking great.

Ed, you doin the Texas road trip again? if so, which car? your 2nd gen or the Goodguys's 69?
I'm in, i'm sending my coin in next week. It was a great job, very well done. |

Marc will be driving the Goodguys 69 Camaro on the tour and I am driving the Goodguys G-10 Pickup that is on a thread build from Scotts Hotrods. The tour is filling up fast as I think everyone talked so much about the last one everyone wants to be part of these cool drives. The Nomaro will debut at SEMA is the goal, then it will do a road tour in 2015. I have been driving the second gen and enjoying it almost every day. Look forward to truckin across the country again with you! I will update this build with some pictures as we get more done. Ed :thankyou: |
I love the build but its reminds me of AMX car LOL
