That's a very good point, Travis. As for dimensions, the tank is 6" x 20" with an 8 quart capacity. Peterson can make them in 6", 7" and 9" diameters in about any capacity that you want, as well as any bung configuration. ATS is a dealer for Peterson, he can give you all the options.

thanks I will look into that. The tank that came with my motor is HUGE to say the least 14 qt capacity. lol

I have the huge tank as well. Takes a little while for the oil to heat up!

no preheater here also. Just let it idle a few minutes, then < 3k RPMs until operating temp.
