Norco - Love the bike and on top of that it's bad ass looking.
|
Getting back in the garage next week, I ordered some parts and getting over my three weeks with double pneumonia.

Well it happened. A buddy of mine dropped off his trailer on Tuesday night.
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...pssnzsssoa.jpg Wednesday morning the doors opened for the first time in a while http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psyfopxfqk.jpg And the car was loaded http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...pshmimy4iu.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...pssh9vscmn.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps35x9v1bd.jpg Had to take this pic. Going to look awesome from behind http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps0b2kvtx9.jpg And in its temporary home getting all the panels hung and lined up http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psxyui1qok.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psmsjjbf1u.jpg I also thought I'd post a pic of a new car I bought last year. It's a 2017 Ford Fusion sport. Snappy little car. 320 hp and 380 tq. Helps fill a void until my car is done lol. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psa7zgminh.jpg |
This is awesome and I love the Fusion !!!!
|
Mike that is huge for you bro. Gotta dig in your heels and push through it. It's a damn roller coaster ride building these cars but well worth it in the end. Take it from me. As you know 11 years for my build but driving the wheels off it!!! Real happy for you and all the best.
Keep the pics coming. Steve |

That's a big step. Congrats, Mike!

Looks
Smoky outside! You must live near me, mind you I think all of BC is one big campfire right now.
Don't give up, your doing better than me. I've had my camaro for 16 yrs and driven maybe 4 of those years between teardowns and mods. Come to the realization it doesn't have to be perfect, just need to get out and drive! |

Thanks guys.
A picture I took when I went to check out the car. Going to pick the car up on Wednesday if I can get my buddy's truck. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...pspv54nbzc.jpg |
The car is back home
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psnwjo6ueh.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psrbwnmy1j.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psbpwtmfeb.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...pstcyr2jeo.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...psmqfhzbxi.jpg It still needs quite a bit of work in the body. The gaps need to be finished up and lots of block sanding, etc. Main thing I wanted to do was get it back looking like a car and now it does. I know that all the panels fit and we won't have any issues when it comes to getting it painted. Next up is to try and get as much done on the car as I can with mechanical, interior, etc. Have already been pricing out parts haha. Order coming soon :) |
Looking badass!! Have enjoyed this build
|
It looks good Mike. Are you doing the gaps, or will they get done at paint time?

Well It’s a bittersweet day, but I ended up selling the car today. Sometimes life throws you some curves. I ended up splitting up with my wife about 15 months ago and the reality is I didn’t know when I’d be in a position to work on the car again, so I made the choice to sell it. I can use the cash a lot more than I can a car that’s just collecting dust. So once I am able to buy a new house with a shop, I will get another one. But until then, I plan on enjoying life and working my ass off at work to buy that house. I’ve also cancelled photobucket so the photo unfortunately will disappear lol. Thanks everyone for all the views and comments.

Bummer Mike, sorry to hear that, but I completely understand, I'm in the same boat here!
|
Same ...
Same here Mike ... Just fortunate enough during these times that I dont have to sell anything (yet !!)
Cheers Steve |
I feel for you as I know how much we all enjoy working on our cars and sharing what we do with other members here. The cat is only a thing but the friendship we make on these sites is what really matters. If you want I can host all your pictures on GarageScene for you and all you would have to do is relink them.
Sometimes things happen in our lives that we can’t understand at that moment. I divorced my first wife years ago. Married my current wife 20+ years ago and now I have two beautiful daughters, a very small dog and a wonderful wife and a really nice garage. I’m not sure my life with my first wife would be anything like the life I have now. I thankful for the way my life has turned out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Good luck to you, Mike. Life isn't always easy. I think the greatest thing about it is every day is a new day to start again.
