Great lookin' wheels Steve! Kind of like Fikse only with a fresh update.

Hey, at least I know my limitations.. my car is way faster than I am. We need to grab a beer at SEMA.. |

Keep up? :unibrow: This big block wants to hunt a shiny penny with a oversize mouse under the hood. She's been waiting a long, long time. First beers on me.

Just wondered if there was something performance wise learned from the last set and improved upon with this set. |

Todd, I'll make sure to bring a "tweaker"or two for old times sake! ;) |

6.125 rod.. 4.250 stroke.. But with modern technology rod/stroke ratios and under/over square isn't as critical as it use to be. This engine is 4.155 x 4.250 The 454 was 4.185 x 4.125 (which I prefer) We will let her eat and see how she holds up.. |

We need that on video, like someone stated. 2 killer cars going head to head. Very cool.

I guess these should help on the performance because of the cut out on each of the spokes, liter wheel. |
Those are some beautiful wheels. Very Nice.

I'm not sure how I feel about your wheels. They might not look good on Bad Penny. You should probably just get new ones.

OHHHSS NOESSS!! |
Car fired up and ran ok.. brough up stuff to temp and no leaks.
Running VERY lean though.. my AF meter is showing pegged at 16:1 .. but the exhaust smells really rich (lots of hydrocarbons) Trailering to dyno tune next Wednesday.. was gonna drive it there :( New wheels look bad freakin ass.. I'm sick as a dog right now so no pics or weights but I will get them next week. |
Lean smells Fat. Not sure why I know that.... but it does.
Unburned fuel is oxygen rich and can trick the O2 into thinking it's pig fat so it corrects and goes lean. Or something along that order. I had that issue with mine once. We fixxxxxxeedddeded it. |
Take it easy for a day or two Steve....you certainly don't need to get worse!

Steve, sorry to hear you can't talk. Is the wife happy about that? :D
My problem - if I remember right - was the tuner (me) thought the idle was fat - so took fuel out - which then made the A/F not burn well - which caused a lean miss - which read fat cause of the unburned fuel - which caused the tuner (me) to take out more fuel -- and well -- you get the picture. The only computer I should get near is one that just does email. |
