You were not kidding when you said you wanted the freshest leather.

Brad P. 10-13-2011 08:08 AM

Very nice fab work!!

Okay not to be picky here.

Your welds look incredible and now the DSE Chassis welds well look incomplete and well.....

They are going to stand out like a sore thumb on your masterpeice. So you need to go back and fully weld the subframe without warping it of course.

ps - you created this Monster and it's all your fault

pss - This has got to be one of the coolest builds I have had the pleasure to watch.

psss - someone need to send these pictures to Poteet. He appreciates craftmanship and here it is people.

Thanks Marty. I know what you mean about the welds just not sure what I'm going to do about it though.

Jr 10-13-2011 08:28 AM

Jason,

Leave the car the way it is, and throw some clear on it.

You have a piece of art right there.

Weld up to the old ones, then grind them off and reweld them

I think you should fab your own sick SF and sell me your DSE unit with those ugly ass crap welds :unibrow:

frojoe 10-13-2011 11:21 AM

That fabrication work on this build is mind-numbing.

Marty,

I think he is in the process of building his hydro forming machine to make his own 1 piece sub-frame to eliminate the need for welds. Holy crap, he either makes me want to try harder or take up needle point! :faint:

Ain't that the truth.

He's also setting one spectacular example of how to do it elegantly right.

How many cow buttholes does it take to make your front seat Jason??

No better leather on earth than virgin cow butthole!

Well it helps when you know the next chapter in the story line. But I would never let a good jab pass me by either.

The WOW Factor keeps escalating.

Nothing against Kyle @DS, but that sway bar decal should be replaced with a War decal. I'd gladly make a die cut and mail it to you n/c.

Do you just wait for me to update my thread before you post? Looks bad to the bone, man!
