Thanks! I'm inspired by a famous underachiever.

"If you take everything I've accomplished in my life and condense it down to one day, it looks decent!"

Jeff-

You have to click on the "green thingy" that looks like "film" and then copy just the YouTube part of the address AFTER the = sign.

The problem is when you try to paste it in between the [ YOUTUBE ] [ /YOUTUBE ] it cuts the right side "[" and you have to add that back in... try it and you'll see what I mean. When you paste it cuts out this "["--------->[/YOUTUBE] so then won't work.

Sieg 03-15-2012 05:29 PM

I click the share link below the video on youtube and copy that link

Then paste it into my post and it looks like this:

http://youtu.be/MFCNVvvmxNw

Then you need to delete everything left of and including the hash mark like this:
MFCNVvvmxNw

Then I highlight that portion and click on the green video icon in the menu and that wraps the tags around it.

PS - Greg, you're a good sport.

Sieg, he's more than a good sport, that's a sign of class (and being able to not take silly stuff too serious).

I'm reassessing the project right now. So it's on hold. No drama - no backstory... I just want to make sure it's a car I want to do - or switch and do one of my others first.

pokey64 05-08-2012 08:26 PM

Sounds good Greg. I was just telling Beth my dream list of parts for my 64 and it made me think of your car.

So while I was listing things she interupts me and says "you need a whole Impala to fix your Impala". I am now reassesing too. :_paranoid

Translated these means I'm spending all my time on the independent rear of my 32. :willy:

Drove it most of the day today! I really like that little POS... wind in your hair - bugs in your teeth.. 5 speed to row.

However.... I'm not jumping on it 'til WINTER.... I want it to stay together all summer... then all hell can break loose. The exhaust needs to be completely re-done - it's cracking at every weld joint...

Nice

Glad to hear you got the little s**t back on the road.

I hope you get back on the Impala. I was living vicariously through your build dreaming of having enough money one day to build a 62 Galaxie boxtop (remember I'm a Ford guy) along the same theme. :D

Ketzer 05-09-2012 07:30 AM

Oh wow. I can't believe this ran out of steam already. I was sooo looking forward to the "drive it like I stole it when done". I guess with several really nice toys to play with it's easy to let your ADD take over...

Everyone else who's been working on your heap for years and have years to go, raise your hand...

I always tell people:
"If you have to talk yourself either into it or out of it then you wont be happy with it".

It just might not be for "Greg". But with that said.... I still dig it and SOMEONE should build it.

kennyd 05-09-2012 08:29 AM

I was at ironworks yesterday , the bubbletop is badass . Sits perfect
