Any update on the DSE brackets or this custom made one? This bracket seems easy to make if dimensions were given...thanks

Amazing work and car.

Why does Matt chop the bottom of the rad support off? To center the radiator? Or for a floating mount?

The stack up of radiator, innercooler and condenser are so big is has to come out to fit and give space for induction tube. Plus cutting the sides and bottom off core support give more area for air to pass through for better cooling

Learn something new every day. ARP doesn't make an oil pan drain plug. They do make everything else..

Steve68 09-22-2024 08:18 AM

What's the color?? I do like it,

Is there that much noise through the wiring that Matt is twisting the wires together or is it done for space and esthetics??

As all ways beautiful craftsmanship, top notch....

Those are the VSS sensor wires and they come as a twisted pair in the AAW Classic Update harness. Improves noise immunity.

Noise Immunity, never heard it called that, we always did it to reduce signal noise in harness's or on circuit cards, didn't know AAW was doing it in there harness's

This car is incredible and I need to make take a road trip to Sled Alley.

Such an awesome build!

Boy she looks great ... attention to detail can't be compared to anyone else!
Since I work in a classic restoration shop now I can appreciate the care need to put this back together. I am assembling a 1979 F150 with perfect paint and body and I end up with nerves on fire and a stomach ache by the end of the day.

fleetus macmullitz 10-15-2024 07:41 PM

Have no idea how popular build books are, but this work should be seen and admired far and wide imho.

Sonar Chief 10-17-2024 04:57 PM

FYI

These guys working on your car are artists and if you could pass on one of my OCD details they may just agree with me.
Zip ties are just not that pleasing to look at ... they are just plastic bread ties, right? I always turn the buckle away from the viewer whether anyone is really looking or not ... just FYI.

Ricochet 10-26-2024 11:25 AM

Incredible build...... Every aspect is perfection!
