My guess as to why it has 235's now is due to the low front ride height. I'd make both changes at the same time.

Sounds like a good plan from the Iceman. :D

So how do you like the 377 ? Im about ready to break the bank on one for me .
Nt01s will wear pretty quik ...

The 377 is a pretty fun motor so far. It's got such a monster cam that its not very torquey down low, and doesnt really start pulling really hard til about 5k. But it revs hard to 7k where I have the rev limiter set at now. I don't know the full history on the motor but I've been driving it pretty hard and it's doing well so far.

What is your intended purpose and car? No one seems to build these anymore -- it's all about maximizing cubes these days.

Right, so it's clear what you need to do.

Plus, you're not getting any younger.

The car is a 86 Vette . i do alot of track days . Midwestern Road courses
Autobahn , Gingerman and Blackhawk.
Havent decided on a trans either .
My opinion is a 377 will live longer than a 406

Sounds like a blast. It should live a lot longer if you use an aftermarket block! That's my main concern. I've already had my share of issues with previous 400 blocks.
