Chris, here you go to get started on making that green 69 rendering come to life. Hell of a deal on the price too.

Wow. Some pretty heavy underlying conversations going on here. That is a shame.

I think Ned really hit it, dozens of shops putting their spin on one single year and make, add in what is currently trendy, theres bound to be some similarities. Stand on the quality of what you are doing and let the rest sort its self out.

My bumper and tail section was done 2 years ago and it looks very similar.... Never saw any of these previous pix.... I mirrored mine similar to Sick Fish

As with any aspect of car modification.... There are so only so many different ways you can modify the rear bumper on a 1st gen and have it look cool. Even if you never see pix of other cars, it's inherent that there will be design and mods that will come out similar

Speaking of a certain 'Cuda with a nice tail, where are the updates?!?

Tim- Ned has been real patient with all I got going on here @ the shop.. We will be wrapping up all the things he has on our list of things to do.. So he can get it home & get some work done himself.. BTW dig all the work you did on rear section of Ned's Cuda..

Jeff-

Why is it a shame to understand that the craftsmanship is what counts? Everyone better go back and look at all the concept cars produced over the years and realize half the time the original designs are really what most people are building.

Keeping costs down in a production environment along with DOT regs is what births the actual design of cars sold.

If you do come up with something truly original then remember.

"imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"

"Don't worry about people stealing an idea. If it's original, you will have to ram it down their throats."

It's hard to believe someone wont jump on this chance to improve the look of their Camaro.

Oh Greg....always got to find some way to jab at me...twist my words...

Your analogy to Jon couldnt be farther from my point....my point is that there are only so many way to re-style that section of a 1st gen....and alot of them are going to be similar.... good design and style are going to have slightly different tweaks, but are often similar from builder to builder... the design and style just works....try to be 1000% original and it often sticks out like a sore thumb because the design just doesnt work...

Wheel designs are the perfect example.....

TJ..wish I had more updates, but I dont.....

Only way to improve the looks of a '69 Camaro is to put some Intros on a Torino...
