Awesome job, Neil!

Thanks! Still getting the rear suspension dialed in. She'll be sitting on 345's soon.

Since I'll be running Hoosiers, today's art project was to add some paint protection film to the leading edge of the flares to reduce stone chip damage. Since nobody makes a PPF kit for a flared C3 Corvette, I had to create the template and hand cut the film. I started by using contact paper to create the right shape on the car. Then, I transferred the shape from the contact paper to the PPF. After cutting the PPF to shape, it went on the car fairly easy. I think it turned out pretty good. You can barely see the film line in the last photo.

Nice and smart! I'll have to remember this for the future. My flares are chipped up badly.

Agreed 100% as I am planning on doing this to the nose of the 70

Today was a perfect day outside, so I finished up a rough alignment and Hoosier'd up! Here is her first 'real' drive. I got about an hour of run time on it. The car will be going back to Tom Argue this week for a few little things while I work on interior prep items back at home.

First drive:

Awesome build! Looking forward to seeing interior pics.

The shakedown continues. After a few good heat cycles and nut/bolt checks, I made the 20 mile trek over the bay bridge to Tom Argue's for a few items. The car ran nice and cool and is a real hoot to drive. No real issues in traffic or on the way except the clutch master started weeping.
