What kind of oiling system is on the car to protect the motor ? I continue to read about the oiling issues with the LS3 on the road course.

Yes, there is an epic thread on Corvette Forum about every LS3 ever driven on a road course has or will blow up.

A dry sump is the best method of course but pretty expensive.

Mine system is made up of an Accusump, Kevko road race oil pan, and remote oil filter. Has been fine so far. At least when I remember to open the valve before each session. :sieg:

And about that rearend ratio...did you get the same outcome spinning backward as you did forward? Ive heard it can be different :sieg:

Drivers way to slow to worry about oiling issues.

Thanks for being the grammar police. My school teacher for a wife has never done that.

You're welcome. Never too late to master 4th grade buddy.

I barely remember going to school, let alone 4th grade english.

I was going to give you hell about how that 4th grade grammar is helping you complete a project, but I just don't have the heart. ha

I didn't even realize this thread had turned into a grammar discussion. You do not want my perspective on this topic.

What's the prognosis on the clutch? The pedal clearly stopped playing an active role in the game . . .

If it makes you feel better, my truck's water pump gave up yesterday (no towing was involved). It'll cost me nearly $60.00 to fix. Dang it.

DBasher 03-12-2018 10:22 AM

Was the clutch pedal to the floor with zero resistance or was pressure noticeable and just won’t engage a gear?

Hopefully it’s an easy cylinder swap or TOB....if not, it may be time to swap the SB2 and dog box. :bigun2:
