I'll bet that's a handful!

That's awesome! My brother has a Dodge Dakota that looks just like yours except it's 2-tone red/white. I've been trying to talk him into doing something like this with it but, it's his work truck. He wants to get a Mustang or Camaro to fix up.

Thanks for the kind words ! I was just messing with it today. I've got some cooling fan issues with wiring overheating a little. I found one bad crimped connector, but I think i have to upgrade a few other connections. I'm also working on getting the AC working. It's a hybrid of the small compressor for the March serpentine drive and everything else is stock. I've made a list of hose ends and I'll be ordering them soon. Once I have the AC working, I'm going to swap out the rotors, rear axles and drums for the 5 lug version. That will open up a whole bunch of wheel choices.

How did the chassis line up with the body ?

The S10 stuff works well but took alot of fab work to get the body gaps even close.the pics I posted were old ones. Since then I have added smooth running boards and still finishing up fab work. The running board brakets are kinda a pain to make look good from underneath. the good thing is the Truck sits very low without even baggin it. We had to raise bed floor about 6 inches, the toeboard and trans tunnell had to be built. The good thing is the wheel base/openings are perfect. We were also able to get the blower under the hood.Hardest part is really just body panel alignment with all four fenders, runnin boards etc moving so much. If you were just building a driver it would not be hard at all. I also gained a ton of rear tire room on the rear. I have a 305/40/22 on the rear and still have room for more without even toucing the frame rails. The other good thing is the ground clearnce. The sheetmetal is only thing low. If you got air in it just enuff to drive, the lowest thing is the trans cross member and it tucked way up in the truck.
