I won't make it this year, but next year I should be there. Between your event and So Cals Divisional at El Toro, I will be very busy next year. I have some sorting out to do, but nothing major. It was a very successfull first outing with a brand new car. I actually beat Frank yesterday, but Mike got me by .7 seconds. To be that close was a great feeling. I have power steering and brake issues to resolve. Once that is done, I will be really ready to go. The video I posted was the very first time I had ever driven the car. That was holding back a bit.

scottysimp7 05-23-2011 10:52 AM

Love everything about this build. Car sounds great.

tones2SS 05-23-2011 05:24 PM

Very, very nice. Not only does it look mean, it sounds mean as well. As soon as that bad boy hits the straightaways you can see it wants to rip. Great job.

When does the GMP diecast model come out?

73CPCAMARO 06-27-2011 03:51 PM

I had a great weekend with the Camaro. A handfull of small but nice additions to the car and my Daughter got her first rides in the car. I will post the additions soon. I also have new wheels and tires coming that I am very excited about. They will be legal for the 200 and higher tread wear events.

My Dad and I strapped in my 13 year old Daughter and she got 5 straight runs in the car. She will drive this car once she is 16. She can't wait!

Here is a photo of Grandpa giving his Grand Daughter a ride.

Thanks for all the compliments. The car is getting dialed in now. We have made numerous spring changes and we just about there.

There were some nice photos taken by a local autocrosser on Sunday. Here are a few more.

Brian,

It was great meeting you on Sunday. My wife and I had fun, and yes that course was tight. My wife got down to a 62, I got a 58.

Mike,

It was very nice meeting the both of you. It is a bit of a drive, but going to Marina for the American Autocross Series is well worth it. 5 runs and the best courses in autocrossing.

See you next time,
Brian
