wow! what a stunning car.
Great job guys!

Cris@JCG 10-20-2011 07:26 AM

Thank you guys for all the compliments! It has been fun watching this car come together.. We have been working on this car now for 14 months & nothing compares to watching it all come together & seeing the end results..

Here some detail pics of the front before we close it up..

The billet front grill insert is fitting very nice.. We welded up the two pcs together so that it kinda looks like the orginal but without the parking lamps..

Very nice job Chris! Has that phrase been used to much on this build already?

I'm just simply amazed on how much the quality of these builds have gone up over the last 20 years. This car would have been a Ridler contender a few years ago and here the owner is planning on using it as a track car. Just amazing. :hail: :hail:

Gandalf 10-20-2011 12:06 PM

Anyone know a good plumber? LOL - seriously nice work Chris. Can't wait to see it in the flesh!

CG:

You have been, and remain, the "master" of the stance. Fantastic.

Cris@JCG 10-20-2011 08:46 PM

How about a front view of the car... Assembly is still going...

I am a big fan of Vintage Trans Am Racing! This car was built with that in my mind since the start..

Skip- It is great so far in a straight line.. Car does not feel to stiff yet.. brakes need to be looked a bit.. looking to get a better pedal feel..

I will just have to use it as my parts chaser when I get it back from SEMA! :D To really get it dialed in..

Thanks Ron! but if we got an invite to Optima.. I would respectfully decline.. The car will be ready for SEMA.. but not ready to be tracked.. We need to shake it out & get some seat time on it before we start attending track events.. Plus the car is registered under JCG as owner.. I suck at driving! I don't want to embarrass myself

I can't put into words how awesome this car is, but "incredible" is the least I could say! Great job.

Quick question, I really like those engine support flanges are they available for purchase? I could use a couple on my project.

Thanks,
Jon
